1、由于管件大部分用于焊接，为了提高焊接质量，管件端部均要开坡口，留有一定的角度，一定的边，这个要求也比较严格，边厚多少，角度多少，偏差范围都有规定。表面质量和力学性能与管材基本相同。为了焊接方便，管件和被连接的管材的钢级要相同。

2、就是所有管件都要进行表面处理，用喷丸的方法把内外表面的氧化铁皮喷掉，然后涂上防腐漆。这个是为了出口的需要。而且也是为了国内运输方便，防止腐蚀和氧化。这个工作是必须做的。

3.就是对包装的要求。对于小件的管件，比如出口的，是需要做木箱的，大概1立方米左右，这个箱子里的弯头数量不能超过一吨。标准允许成套，也就是大套和小套。但是总重量一般不能超过1吨。对于大件，需要单独包装，比如24”的必须单独包装。另外就是包装标志，必须注明尺寸，钢号，批号，厂家商标等。
